The seven life processes and their significance in human development and biography.
The relationship between nature and the human being offering insight into how formative forces shape health and life transitions.
By the end of this course, participants will gain a deep understanding of the Anthroposophical view of life and its application to midwifery care.
Anthroposophic Perspectives on Health and Disease
80 Hours
Holistic Insights into Health, Healing, and the Thresholds of Life
This course explores the anthroposophical understanding of health and disease, particularly during the transformative phases of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Key topics include:
The dynamics of the formative forces and the threefold nature during pregnancy.
Threshold work, with insights into birth and death as profound transitions.
The anthroposophical medical perspective on gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatrics, including approaches to breastfeeding and surgical delivery.
Participants will deepen their capacity to approach health and disease holistically, with tools to support mothers and infants through these critical periods.
Integrating Anthroposophic Medicine into Midwifery Practice
250 Hours
Practical Applications for Transformative, Holistic Birth Care
This comprehensive course focuses on the practical application of Anthroposophical medicine in midwifery. Participants will develop hands-on skills, including:
Supporting maternal well-being through diet, movement, and AMP (Anthroposophical Medical Products).
Conducting the newborn exam and providing holistic infant care focusing on warmth and rhythm.
Mastering therapeutic techniques, such as Rhythmical Einreiben, baths, compresses, and poultices.
This course equips midwives with practical tools to integrate Anthroposophical principles into their daily practice, enhancing holistic care for mothers and infants.
